Stallholders One of the most popular elements of Michaelmas Fair is the lively streetmarket in the town. Union Street leading to the showground is closed during the day on both days, and High Street is closed on Sunday to make way for a host of craft and trade stalls, charity stalls and food outlets. We also have a large marquee on the showground for craft stalls and more space at the top of town in Market Square. We welcome traders and local groups or charities to bring stalls on either day. We particularly welcome craft stalls and unusual products, especially those relating to our theme of sustainable resources, recycling and environmental issues. Please contact us if you have any queries. If you are a trader or a local group or charity, you will need to book a space using our stall application form, we look forward to hearing from you.
